Family-friendly 4-bed/3 bath/1 large office midcentury home in the peaceful hills of Mt. Washington with spectacular views of the mountains and the Griffith Observatory. Our home is close to the restaurants and shops of Silverlake, Highland Park, Echo Park, Eagle Rock, and Pasadena, but nestled within a quiet residential neighborhood. Our home is available for 30-day rentals this summer, between June 13, 2025 - August 31, 2025.

UPSTAIRS — there is a large primary bedroom with king-size Tempur-Pedic mattress and en-suite bathroom, two children’s bedrooms (one with crib, one with toddler bed), a family bathroom with bathtub and shower, and a large balcony with outdoor sofa overlooking the mountains — perfect for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

DOWNSTAIRS — there is a living room, kitchen with extendable dining table and range of cooking equipment (Instant Pot, two coffee machines, air fryer and toaster oven, soda machine, Nutribullet, spice grinder, etc.), a large family room/playroom, a fourth bedroom with a queen bed, another bathroom with shower, a washer and dryer, and a huge office (recently converted from our garage) with a large standing desk, work bench, and treadmill.

OUTSIDE — there is a fenced back yard with a large deck, covered outdoor table, a kids’ playhouse and sandbox, and a built-in gas fire pit. We also have a small front yard with an herb garden and kids’ play set. EV charger. There is plenty of street parking right outside the house.

Other things to note: we have central heat and air, extremely fast wi-fi, and a Roku TV (hidden inside a cabinet) in the family room. Our house is well childproofed, with baby gates, cabinet locks, etc.
