Unique opportunities with the horses on this farm in the country! Peaceful one-level home just minutes from the beach and many Door County sites and adventures or relax on the deck and watch wildlife. Sit by the fire outside and watch for the northern lights and falling stars. Ask about spending time with the horses. I will show you how to groom them or feed them or just spend time with the herd! Ask me about going for a cart ride or sleigh ride! Or maybe you want to learn a little about riding or just sit on a horse. We have anywhere from 18-22 horses at any given time, from miniature horses to the gentle giants, draft horses. We offer these horse activities year round!
We are located next to The Team Leadership Adventure Center where you can zip line, kayak, climb the ropes course outside or the walls inside!
We are a short distance from many restaurants, beaches, parks, golf courses and wineries as well as many little villages where you can find shops, galleries, and special festivals all year round. Also close by are trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling. You can rent a boat on the lake or the bay and go fishing or just take in all the amazing views from the water!
The rental part of the house is all on one level and kept very clean. The only surveillance equipment on the property is in the barns and horse paddocks.
The basement has a separate entrance and the door from upstairs to downstairs is locked as the owner (Julie) lives down there with her 2 cats. Sound does not travel up and down as it is insulated between the two floors.
