Originally built in 1886, this home has been a well-loved Wianno area summer home for well over a century. Its proximity to Dowses Beach and Osterville village center make it a very desirable location. The home was completely renovated top to bottom between 2020-2021, so our home has all the modern comforts that make a vacation that much more enjoyable. The new kitchen is open to the dining and bar area, to make family time more convenient. The casual high top table and wet bar face a big screen TV, making it a perfect place to watch the Red Sox and enjoy a meal. You will notice two more living rooms on the first floor, as well as a powder room. At the front of a house is the smaller TV den, and on the side is the large and more formal living room with loveseats and a piano. The wraparound porch is a great place to read a book or enjoy a cocktail.
The first floor mudroom is ideal for kicking off your shoes and hanging up your beach towels. Beyond the mudroom is a private ‘apartment’ with a Queen-sized bed, full bath, and private front patio with separate entrance.
The second floor contains another 4 bedrooms, a laundry area, and a large family/ TV room. The front two bedrooms share a full bath in the hallway. One of these rooms contains a Queen bed, and the other contains a King with a porch. The remaining two bedrooms on the second floor are both ensuite. One has a Queen bed, and the one which is considered the ‘primary’ bedroom contains a King bed, full bath, and walk-in closets.
The third floor of the home contains two small rooms, with 3 twin beds total.
From the sliding doors off the dining area, you can access the stone patio and grill area. The large, grassy area for lawn games.
The separate guest house contains two bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchenette, and living area. The back sliders lead to an outdoor shower.
